Welcome back and happy new academic year! We hope you have had a fabulous summer, albeit a strange one, given the current circumstances. We hope your child is excited to become a member of the snow leopard tribe. This letter gives you some information about their first term as we currently know it. As I’m sure you can imagine, things might well change, but we’ll do our best to keep you informed of those changes.

Our class will consist of class teachers, Mrs. Baker (Monday – Wednesday) and Miss Cartwright (Thursdays and Fridays) with Mrs. Wainwright joining the Snow Leopards this year to support children in the classroom.

PE will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays, Wednesdays being largely outside, depending on the weather. Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school, as the days are subject to change.

This year the children will work as Mathematicians, Scientists, Geographers, artists and many more, investigating and using our character muscles throughout the day.

We would like the children to read regularly at home, those reading more than three times a week will be rewarded if this is shown in their reading record.

Using Facebook and our class pages we will endeavour to keep you updated on what the children are doing in school, but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to talk to us. If a longer appointment is required, then we can organise a suitable time for all.
